Greetings Everyone!

I am excited to announce the return of my dear friend, Meg Whitbread, to the studio this weekend. Over the years she and I have had many conversations about the relevance of yoga in the modern world, and she has uttered so many words of wisdom that I have actually kept a journal chronicling the ones that I’ve been able to remember afterwards. I honestly don’t think that I’ve ever met a person who is so simultaneously down-to-earth and light. Meg has deep insight into the human condition, and yet she is so funny and lighthearted that we often laugh like 2nd graders do when they hear a silly bathroom joke.

Come check out her offerings this Sunday in a series of workshops which detail the tremendous self-care system of Yamuna Body Rolling. If you’ve never heard of this system before, think of it as a two hour self-massage where you will create more freedom in your joints by both lengthening and re-activating their surrounding muscles. Especially during the rush of the holiday season, it’s important to allocate some time during the week to recharging your batteries and renewing your spirits so that you can remember what this festive time is actually supposed to be about.
