Free Your Neck and Shoulders

Until you have experienced severe pain in the neck, it is impossible to fully appreciate the depth of our colloquial saying that so-and-so or such-and-such is “a pain in the neck.” Now obviously I would not recommend yoga for people who are in acute neck pain, but for the vast majority of us living with mild pain and discomfort, or for those of us who know that we store stress and tension in our neck and shoulders, then yoga can be a tremendous help. Come join us on Sunday, April 15 for two workshops that are designed to restore freedom to your neck and shoulders. From 11:15am-1:15pm, Emilia will be teaching her signature blend of Yamuna Body Rolling and yoga techniques in a blissful workshop that she cleverly titled, Free Your Neck and Shoulders: A workshop for anyone living in the modern world. Then from 1:30-3:30pm, I’ll be leading a special class of Learning the Ropes during which we will run through the full gamut of my favorite tricks for creating space in the neck and shoulders. Space is limited to ensure plenty of individualized attention and support.
