“You know how you have one, maybe two, truly great teachers in your life -- in any subject -- who rearranged and reinspired the way you thought about everything? Geoffrey is one of those teachers. And he keeps getting better, like a great Burgundy.”

– Eric Gower, cookbook author and San Francisco Chronicle columnist

Class Descriptions:

Beginner's Class
Key themes for the practice and basic introductory poses from all of the pose categories are taught. These classes assume that participants have little or no yoga experience, and are therefore a perfect way to start or to start up again if you've had a long hiatus.

Level 1-2 Class
Modifications and variations on sun salutations and standing poses are taught so that everyone can practice in a way that feels challenging but not overwhelming. These classes introduce mild hip opening, shoulder opening, backbending, twisting and inverted postures.

Level 2-3 Class
Sun salutations and standing poses are linked together to produce a more fluid and challenging practice. These classes feature deeper hip opening, shoulder opening, backbending, and twisting postures. In addition, longer holds in forward bends and inversions will prepare students to explore the nuances of breath awareness experiments and seated meditation.
