Replenishing Weekend Workshops
“Easy is right. Begin right and you are easy. Continue easy and you are right. The right way to go easy is to forget the right way and forget that the going is easy.”
We all know that living in the Big Easy is not always easy. But there are key moments surrounding Holiday, Carnival, and Festival seasons that simply demand downtime, not only for self-preservation purposes, but mainly in order to maximize one’s enjoyment of those celebratory events. This weekend is case in point: if you don’t take active measures to recharge your internal batteries before Jazz Fest, then you’re guaranteed to fizzle out well before the end. Come join us for two workshops that will fill your energetic reservoirs and provide you with the grace and stamina to continue easy. On Saturday, April 22 from 1:30-3:30pm, Valerie Viosca will be teaching another round of the enchanting AcuYoga, where acupuncture meets restorative yoga. This class allows you the unique opportunity of dropping into deep levels of stillness, which turns on your body’s self-healing mechanisms . Then on Sunday, April 23 from 1:00-3:00pm I’ll be leading another adventure of Learning the Ropes, where we use these wonderful supports to deepen our understanding of alignment, as well as our appreciation of the power of unbridled breathing. Space is limited in each workshop to ensure plenty of individualized attention. So be sure to reserve your spot now.
