Greetings Everyone!

The start of the new year seems like an appropriate time to make shifts that will promote expansion, and so I wanted to let you know about a few changes that will be happening at the studio, starting next week. First, all class passes will now have a one year expiration date. This new policy still feels generous and reasonable — a year is plenty of time to use up 10 classes! Second, the student rate has increased to $12. Sorry students, but this one feels pretty fair too. Third, all of the $10 classes on the schedule have gone up to $12 as well. And finally, Suzy’s 12pm classes on Wednesday and Friday will now be regularly priced; however, each of those classes will have an additional 15 minutes and so will now end at 1:15pm. I’m sure that everyone who frequents those classes will appreciate that extra chunk of time to go deeper into the practice.

I also wanted to let you know about exciting events that will be kicking off both this Sunday and next week. No, I am not referring to the Saints divisional round playoff game (although we are all extremely pumped up about that). I’m talking about a series of Sunday workshops on health and well-being. This Sunday, January 14 from 11:15am-1:15pm, join Katherine Jilbert and Stephanie Thompson for Detoxification Yoga. In addition to practicing detoxifying poses, you will learn how to support your body’s natural detoxification mechanisms with nutrition and self-care practices. Come in, clean out and you will leave feeling revitalized and re-empowered. Reserve your spot now.

In other exciting news, Keith Werhan will be kicking off another one of his signature Begin at the Beginning Series next Wednesday from 7:30-8:30pm. This fabulous four-class series explores the key alignment principles of yoga and is a wonderful way for beginning students to learn the basics in a safe, supportive environment. Ideal for folks who have always been interested in yoga but perhaps too intimidated to try, this series is also a great jump start for people who have fallen out of the practice and are looking to refresh their knowledge of the fundamentals.
