“Sometimes the actual depth of your approach to a thing will be what coaxes the thing to honor that depth and yield more to you.”
As part of our commitment to depth in the study of yoga, I am excited to announce that we will be offering more workshops and extended practices on the weekends. Traditionally these immersions have taken place only on Sundays, but we have shifted the schedule around in order to accommodate longer practices on Saturdays as well. Join Katherine Jilbert this Saturday, December 3 from 1:30-3:30pm for The Root of All Things. By focusing on the delicate musculature of the pelvic floor, and by using a wide range of pose modifications to address both hyper and hypo tension, you will discover a newfound sense of steadiness and ease in your body. The importance of this subject area, with respect to both asana practice and functionality in daily life, cannot be overstated. This is technically part two in Katherine’s workshop series; however, if you missed part one, you can absolutely participate because much of the information will be repeated and clarified.
I’d also like to invite you to join me this Sunday, December 4 from 1:00-3:00pm for another episode of 50 Essential Poses. If you missed the last round back in October, now is your chance to jump in and experience a marvelously satisfying and exquisitely balanced practice. And even if you were able to attend the last one, you’ll still want to participate this Sunday because I have made some tweaks to the sequence of the poses that make it even better. Reserve your spot now in either workshop.
Hope to see you soon!
