It is becoming more apparent to doctors, bodyworkers, and therapists that back pain, fatigue, and depression actually come from a lack of structural integrity in our bodies and the way we habitually misuse ourselves. The body reflects the emotions and mind, highlighting the symptoms of the often sedentary and yet stressful lifestyle that many people lead. After years of teaching corporate groups, I created a program called Workplace Wellness that is designed to effectively address these problems at their root source. We use only the most basic yoga poses and breath awareness techniques as tools to counteract the negative effects of sitting all day at a desk.
